GB Medical Training

GB Medical Training are a prehospital training consultancy with the experience to back it. In fact, they’re led by a clinician with over 21 years’ experience in the medical industry, overseeing medical training and ensuring clients receive the best expertise in the field.

Their training is informed and led by the highest of industry standards, and is packaged and delivered by a team still operating in emergency care. To really get their new venture off the ground, they needed a low-cost, high-quality website.

Take a look below to see how our designers got to it.

Website interface

Our skilled web designers love nothing more than producing the best kind of websites – the ones that do more by saying less. For GB Medical Training, our web designers ensured a clean minimalism directed the overall atmosphere to provide for a more enjoyable user experience.

From large and inviting typefaces to interactive media, our client’s homepage sets the scene beautifully, and really shows what intelligent design can achieve.

When customers first land on this homepage, they’re treated to a large, page-wide slider featuring service call to actions, on-brand imagery, and a clean and clear navigation bar to help them explore a range of services. Scrolling down, a positive user journey is encouraged by centralised, easy-to-read informational content.

This is positioned in front of a section of white space, helping to lead naturally below where space is filled with our client’s branded colour scheme.

Speaking of colour palettes, we’re a huge fan.

Colour palettes enable you to leverage visual design to influence how people feel, behave, and interact with content around them. For a medical training company, it made sense to inject positivity, calm, and trustworthiness with a cool blue and white palette.

From content headers to images and the logo itself, this colour scheme does wonders for our client’s brand presence and the visitor’s experience.

But amazing web design is so much more than attractive colour palettes’ it’s all about creating positive user experiences that ensures visitors associate your business/website with positive interactive experiences.

For GB Medical Training, this meant building a website that makes it easier than ever for users to complete their tasks, locate information they need, and engage with more than just content. That’s why our web design included a sticky header, attractive call to action buttons, on-brand banners, and a user-friendly footer.

Across the website, away from the homepage, it was important that our designers helped create a familiar experience using continuous design features. Nobody likes nasty surprises, especially in the medical world. That’s why, on each and every page, visitors can expect familiarity and function with each design feature.

Web design and Social Proof

Social proof is all about building positive user interactions by building on your reputation. For a medical client, this is crucial. By building a testimonials page, our designers are able to help our client showcase why they’re at the forefront of medical training consultancy.

This is carried through with the contact page, featuring a user-friendly form and even a Google Maps banner to help their visitors find their way around.
