Transforming the world of recruitment with a digital presence to match
The world of recruitment has always been a big place. Just one quick Google search and you’ll find yourself buried in thousands upon thousands of recruitment companies fighting for your eyeballs.
Throw into the mix the availability of services to audiences all around the world, and you’ve got a pretty big task on your hand: to stand out amongst the rest.
That was our job when our client, Wembley-based Work Ready Recruitment, got in touch for a website that was more than just a website. They wanted a website that would transform the way recruitment is done.
Have a read below to find out more about how we took a design brief and built a website worth shouting about.
Website Design and User Interface
Ask anyone – web design that wows is what gets us out of bed every morning and inspires us to do more. There’s nothing we love more than turning briefs into something special.
This was our chance to do just that.
Work Ready Recruitment were after web design that not only looked good but felt good too. It meant having design that not only caught the eyes of audiences but led them to click.
And this was made possible with design that was consistent, sleek, user-friendly, and professional. Everything proper web design should be.
Whether it’s the pale blue and white colour palette, user-friendly icons, or rounded interface graphics, design here means creative freedom and a spacious, inviting presence.
Away from the homepage, our web design stays consistent across the board. From the About Us page to Contact Us, we’ve built a web presence that’s familiar for its users navigating across from start to finish.
Bringing all this together, our design and user interface are working together to provide an experience that’s smooth, user-friendly, and easy to use. This is what we mean when we say users want an interface that provides everything, from aesthetic design to core functionality.
And when we talk about functionality, what we are really saying, is how well the website perform – how easy is it for users to find what they are looking for?
This was at the front of our designers’ minds when they were building our client’s website – it was the guiding principle that influenced key decisions, such as how to place the navigation bar, and how to lay out information for users.
It’s why we kept the homepage spacious, airy, and tactile – balancing content with space, and call to actions with gorgeous illustrations.
Celebrating our client’s amazing services was also something we wanted to foreground across the whole of the website. With this, we decided to place the services box on ever page, tucked to the right-hand-side. Positioning the service box like this enabled us to present users with call to action buttons while still refraining from interrupting their browsing experience.
Making Your Website Genuine and Authentic
There are loads of features available to you that you can leverage in order to increase your reputation, social proof, and authenticity. And with the online world oh so crowded, the need to stand out – as we outlined in our introduction – has never been greater.
From testimonials to galleries, contact form submissions to ‘who we’ve worked with’ pages, you really can get creative when it comes to strengthening your brand.
For our client, we made sure all pages contained relevant, engaging content, as well as appropriate call to action buttons to encourage on-page action.
There’s also an About Us page, and a Contact Us page with a user-friendly submission form. These elements, when combined, make for a much more trustworthy digital presence that customers can rely on every time they visit.
