Munster Construction Ltd is a construction company providing high-quality construction services
They include ground working, foundations and form working to name just a few.
With a portfolio covering small- and large-scale construction projects, they’ve built something of a reputation across the north of England for exceptional construction services. When Munster Construction submitted their design brief for a new website, our designers were rearing to go. Read below to see why they like this one so much.
Web design and user interface
Like for Munster Construction, no job is too big or small for our team of UK web designers. Apart from office pizza, they like nothing more than getting their teeth stuck into a new web design brief.
When our design team began work on our client’s new construction-focused website, they knew they wanted to create a digital presence that’s modern, easy to use, and unique.
Through every single click, pixel, and scroll, you’ll find all this and more. The end result is a space that’s forward-looking, strong, and built around the end-user. Perfect.
Starting with the colour scheme, we went with a blue, yellow and white palette to drive the visuals.
Particularly strong is the yellow hue which, when balanced with the dark blue and white surrounding spaces, provides a vibrant presence. From the logo to vibrant call to actions, the yellow adds a sense of calm and dependability.
When we design websites, we ensure they’re built around the user. We also ensure they include all the features every every modern website should have.
When you land on the homepage, you’re met with a page which balances white space with content perfectly. Keeping things simple, a page-wide opening slider sits immediately above a services section full of icons and call to action buttons. Users know what they want when they come to this website – having design features in place to facilitate their journey and meet their requirements is crucial.
Scrolling down the homepage, users can see more copy, high-quality images, and a handy contact banner section – all carried through by a sleek sans serif typeface. Beautiful.
User behaviour and navigation
How users access and use the internet is always changing. With over half of online search queries now taking place on smartphones, having a website optimised for mobile devices could be the difference between a new and lost customer. For our client, our web designers made our client’s mobile version the best it can be, with menu buttons and call to actions positioned perfectly for each user.
For us, web design is one of the most important things in the world. And we don’t just think this for any old reason. We think this because 40% of web users will stop using your website if they find its design to be unsatisfactory.
And we’re not just talking about an ugly colour scheme or an odd font; if people can’t use your website, they’ll leave. Obviously.
For our client, navigation features such as a sticky header, modern icons, and visible call to actions help each user find their way across the homepage to find what they need.
