Boasting one of the most gorgeous sun trap locations in France, this luxurious, renovated building is the perfect venue for any wedding or relaxing break. Offering an expansive 30 acres of land, guests can enjoy the surrounding gardens, cottages, and beautiful courtyard.
To make a lasting impression with its future guests, our client needed a standard, brochure website to display their services and to show off the space available. So, they did what any sensible business does. They sent off their design brief and we got it done.

What did our team of web designers want to achieve with this project? In a sentence, web design for our client had to do two things.
First – it needed to appropriately reflect our client’s brand values.

For our team of web designers, they were already beginning to envision what web design would ultimately look like – and achieve – for La Cannonerie.
Starting with the colour palette – what better way to communicate luxury, trustworthiness, and professionalism, than with a rose gold and white colour scheme? With push buttons, the logo, and call to action buttons lined in a lovely rose gold tint, we were already on our way to producing something appealing.
When it came to the interface itself, we wanted design to do more than just look nice. We needed it to inspire action, thought, and behaviour.
Thanks to a page-wide image when users land on this page, it immediately conveys an open, transparent place with bags of opportunity to go with it.
Scrolling down, users can enjoy a short introduction and a few images to learn more about their getaway.
Overall, it’s a well-balanced homepage, completely clutter-free.
For us, consistency is key to a positive user experience, and we made sure design remained familiar throughout.
That’s why, away from the home page, design remains consistently open, bright, and appealing.
