YG Prefab started as a shared vision by Andrew Yates and Paul Rees to offer a no compromise approach to offsite prefabrication.
And with over 30 years’ experience in the HVAC and M&E industry, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge into the YG Prefab business, making YG Prefab a leading provider of specialist prefab solutions.
When it was time for a new brochure style website, they came to us to get the job done. Here’s how our web design team turned a design brief into something YG Prefab could call home.
Web navigation & interface layout
YG Prefab’s interface is both elegant and traditional, bearing hallmarks of a website that meets the needs and expectations of customers across all demographics.
From front to back, this website serves up reliable usability and straightforward navigation for those customers who are seeking client-focused prefab solutions with the kind of after sales care that brings them back.
Like any HVAC & prefab website, it’s vital to get in the shoes of clients to ensure your interface works for and around their needs.
This website is perfect for introducing customers to who YG Prefab are and how they can alleviate their pressing points.
Landing on the homepage, users can enjoy a huge page-wide slider with relevant call to actions before getting stuck into a service banner full of animated icons and concise sales copy.
Venturing further down the interface, users can take advantage of additional background copy doused in a gorgeous green before learning about our client’s services, accompanied with an image reel displaying products.
Then, if users are interested, a convenient contact banner is on-hand to make it easier for customers to get in touch and begin their journey.
This is web design built with the user in mind. Both user-friendly and straightforward, this website’s navigation makes it even easier for online customers to get to know our client and learn about what they do.
Web design should inspire, wow, and help users find what they are looking for. When web design is outdated, boring and ignores the customer’s needs – you’re left with a digital presence that has no presence at all.
For our client, we wanted this website to take them into the 21st century with a modern, refreshing design aesthetic. And we first achieve this with a colour palette that’s both easy on the eye and vital to assisting users with their journey.
Green is our most receptive colour, and, paired with off white and greys, this design palette is the perfect set up on which to communicate information and product information.
More web design wizardry comes in the form of a slim, sans serif typeface, high-quality image reels, and on-brand service icons.
And helping to tie all these together is the minimal, wide-open interface on each page, which helps to make this content pop until the cows come home.
This isn’t just an HVAC & prefab website to display services, it’s a website that’s built for the future, on an interface that speaks to customers on a deeply personal level.
