Emchia know a thing or two when it comes to safe asbestos removal.
And not only that, they have experience in land remediation and soft strip demolition. That means if you are looking for a safe, reliable, and industry-leading contractor to get the job done properly, you needn’t look any further.
In recent years, the safe removal of asbestos has become an integral requirement for many public, private, and commercial buildings. Luckily, Emchia know how to make these spaces safe and fit for use.
Our client approached Red Website Design to design a website that incorporated their mission, revamped their brand presence, and a place that customers could easily navigate across to find what they’re looking for.
We got to work doing what we do best, and transformed a design brief into something special. Have a read below to find out more!
Design that speaks
Designing a website that would make noise required forward-thinking when it came to producing intuitive design. Our client wanted a contemporary colour palette that would foreground their presence in a novel way making for a much more engaging presence.
The solution? A purple, grey, and white dominant colour palette. The great thing about this palette was that it stood out. Purple isn’t often a colour you associate with contractors, but here it works. And it looks amazing, too.
Colour psychology can do a great deal for your brand, is it has done for our client. It’s a relaxing, reassuring colour. But we were careful, making sure to use it sparingly. That’s why you’ll find only the navigation bar and key headers in this colour.
The rest of the webpage is bathed in clean, open tones of grey and white that balance the whole website out wonderfully.
And when it came to the typeface, nothing says smart casual better than Montserrat.
When thinking about design, it was important – and helpful – for us to stress what we didn’t want rather than what we did. We didn’t want, for example, a web presence that relied too much on clutter, or irrelevant chunks of text. We didn’t want a design that outdated, lacking in imagination, and plain boring, either.
By keeping space open and refreshing, design here means transparency and clarity – exactly the right kind of values our client needed to communicate to their clients.
In order for all this design to resonate well with visitors, our web design built an interface that made website navigation and brand engagement even easier.
User Interface & Experience
The running thread that ran throughout here was engineered simplicity. We knew we wanted to establish an interface that was effortlessly simple, yet one that was still able to perform as any respectable, full-functioning website should do.
We did a few things to make this happen. For example, we placed the logo above the navigation bar to have a space of its own, and then centred the navigation headers themselves to provide a pleasing, natural finish.
Above the fold is where all the magic happens, and for our client, we went all out. Having a three-column service area at the top means customers can find what they need even quicker. And, with interactive images for these, we’re able to provide a much more compelling experience for customers.
Scrolling down the homepage, we’re met with an informational, useful welcome section that introduces our client to the world and lets people know why they exist – and why they matter.
It’s always great to diversify content on your landing pages. It’s here where people offer suffer high bounce rates. Why? Because they’re not engaged at the earliest opportunity.
On our client’s website, we have digital media on the landing page that tells users more about Emchia and what they get up to. Content like this actually drives conversions, and makes for a more rounded web presence.
Forming those positive relationships with customers means making it as easy as possible for people to initiate the contact process.
It’s a crucial stage of the conversion process, and one that shouldn’t get left behind.
For Emchia, every effort has been made to allow engagement with customers that little bit easier. An obvious place to start was having a dedicated ‘Contact’ page, as every website should. From here, users can access the right contact details for their queries. And with Google Maps built-in, our client really is on the map.
Keeping your website visitors up to date with the latest news about your brand makes you more relevant, engaging, and noticeable.
Take a look at our client’s, and you’ll see all kinds of posts, ranging from case studies to community engagement projects!
Social proof is a psychological phenomenon that sees users replicate the behaviour of others in an effort to fulfil correct standards. It’s seeing a blue tick on Twitter. It’s seeing your friend do something and thinking that’s a great idea. It’s when an influencer recommends a certain product to their followers. It’s when the public endorse your brand.
There are many ways that this can be achieved. For you and your business, you need to think about how you can provide justification for your product. ‘Accreditations’ and ‘Our clients’ on Emchia’s website do just that. It lets their experience and their clients validate their mission.
Curating an always-on presence means your business can serve customers’ needs at any time of day. Wherever they are. For Emchia, we’ve placed social media widgets across the whole website, so customers are never more than a click away from connecting online.
