Specialising in wedding photography in Swansea, Robert J Photography manages to be in the heart of the moment without disrupting it, leaving clients with memorable images that last a lifetime. Robin first picked up a camera ten years ago, and it was in this moment that he found his calling.
Ten years later he spends his time capturing amazing moments for lucky couples. When he required a new brochure style website to display his services and house a portfolio, he came to us.

That’s why it was crucial that we got Robin’s homepage right.
Black and white photography is timeless, and features a lot in wedding photography. Though it’s not a hallmark per se of Robin’s stye, it does feature in his work.
With this in mind, we wanted to lead the web design using a black, white and grey colour palette, perfectly blending Robin’s own work with the website it is housed on.
From the homepage to the contact page, this colour palette oozes class and professionalism, helping to convey the right kind of values to connect with the right kind of client.
Thanks to the white background, we’re better able to foreground elements like call to action buttons, images and title headers, making it a whole lot easier for customers to interact with.
We build websites that work. Whether customers are looking to simply browse or carry out something specific, our design lends itself naturally to optimised web navigation.
For Robin’s photography website, this meant having sticky headers, clearly labelled content and a consistent presentation of content, such as having images on the right and text in a column on the left on each page.
What this does is brings Robin closer to customers on a website that is reliable, familiar and consistent.
Portfolios are the perfect place to store and advertise your work.
For our client, we made his work the centre piece of this page, being careful not to introduce secondary design content.
In this way, we let his work do the talking, making it easier for customers to choose him to capture one of the most important days of their lives.
