There are many education recruitment websites out there; designing Durrant Consultancy’s digital storefront meant creating a space that was appealing, engaging, and unique.
On our client’s landing page, we’re met with a refreshing, clean opening space that is everything a modern website should be. The large opening image takes up the whole above the fold space, and, with a sleek font placed over the top, we’re able to immediately communicate the right values.
Scrolling further down, this minimalist presence is further experienced by users as they are greeted by an introductory title over a white background.
This was our chance to really show off the design elements of this website. The dominating orange and pastel teal palette can be found behind text boxes, over CTAs, and at the footer of the website. The result? An experience that’s consistent, clean, and professional.
Images are perfect for breaking text up and making the experience more appealing. Visual elements are so receptive for users – nobody wants to be drowned in text!
With large, high-quality, and relevant images, Durrant Consultancy is a brand that looks after its image and cares about professionalism.
What use is good design if a website fails to consider the user experience and doesn’t provide an interface that fulfils needs and desires?
Not only did our client’s website need to look good – it had to pack the punch with elements that enabled visitor interaction and engagement.
A great way to make this happen was by featuring CTAs that encouraged visitors to learn more and do more. When we land on this homepage, we’re met with opportunities to explore further. The ‘search jobs’ CTA, for example, is placed directly underneath the header and immediately grabs our attention.
You’ll also find this CTA at the top right-hand corner of the sticky header, too!
Above all, providing a flowing, smooth experience is what this website is all about. On our landing page, as users scroll down, they’re able to locate our client’s services all in one place. Keeping everything in one place means users can find what they are looking for quicker – and easier.
Perhaps the most important page on this website is the ‘Register your CV’ page. Here, users can really get started on their new journey. It was important here that we had a user submission form that was not only appealing but easy to use and complete.
Having amazing design interlaced with an amazing user interface makes this digital presence one that places users at its very core.
And that’s what a valuable experience looks like.
