With a refreshing, on-brand website, SheMac have transformed their digital presence, all thanks to design that does more than look good on a page.
Like for SheMac Construction – who pride themselves on delivering on both large and small scale projects – no job is too big or small for our team of UK web designers.
When our specialist web design team began work on our client’s brand-new website, they knew they intended to craft a digital presence that’s inviting, modern, easy to use, and packages up everything our client stands for.
In every single click, pixel, and scroll, you’ll find all this and more.
The final finish is an interface that’s forward-looking, strong, and built around the end-user. Perfect for visitors who want to browse on a website that looks good and feels even better.
Beginning with the colour palette, our designers worked closely with our client to achieve the perfect palette.
In this case, a black, white and red colour palette orchestrates the website’s visual offering, seeping its way through the whole interface from call to action buttons to content boxes and more.
We’ve designed over 3,000 websites for clients around the world, and in each project, we ensure they’re built around the user.
This means they’re built to fulfil visual expectations as well as functional.
We also ensure they include all the features every modern website ought to have – placed on an interface that’s intuitive to a visitor’s needs.
When you land on our client’s homepage, you’re greeted with a page which balances white space with meaningful and necessary content perfectly.
To keep things simple and modern, a huge page-wide opening slider greets users as they land the homepage, taking up the whole above-the-fold area.
Further below, as users scroll down, they can take in content with ease, sitting on a minimal white background with a high-quality image positioned to the right.
Then, as visitors head further below, they’re met with a horizontal service banner with opaque boxes in-line with the website’s dominant colour scheme.
Working in tandem with the minimalist nature of the website, this design speaks to the needs of the modern web visitor who needs to access content quickly.
User behaviour and navigation
How we access and use the internet is constantly evolving.
With over half of online searches now taking place on smartphones, having a website optimised for mobile devices could be the difference between a new customer and a could-be customer.
For SheMac Construction, our web designers made our client’s mobile version the best it can be, with menu buttons and call to actions positioned perfectly for each user.
What this does is enhance the on-the-go browsing experience, making it easier for users to access our client’s content on the go, when they need to.
Not only is this good for users – it’s great for our client’s SEO, too, as search engines favour websites that cater to smartphone browsing.
