Delivering high-quality services to clients around the world.
The legal world is a complex, crowded, and uncertain place. But when people need straightforward legal help, Pemberton Legal are on-hand to bring it to them.
Practising in London and representing clients up and down the UK – and indeed the whole world – they pride themselves on delivering exceptional services.
But they needed a new website to take their legal company to the next level. After submitting their design brief, our UK web design team got started. Here’s how they turned a brief into something special.
Legal web design
Web design is lots of things – colour, layouts, typography, images. For us, it’s all about combining these elements into one experience that both reflects brand values and encourages user action.
Pemberton Legal means professional, reliable, and unique legal services for those who depend on it. Our designers needed to ensure their design not only projected our client’s values, but their clients’ expectations, too.
You can get a real sense of these values as soon as you land on the homepage. Users only have around 8 seconds to completely make up their minds about your website.
And the first half are spent on your homepage. Does your homepage have the right layout to captivate their attention? Are services displayed coherently? Can users find call to action buttons they are looking for? Is it visually appealing?
These are just some of the questions our designers face every day when working with design briefs.
Our client’s homepage ticks all the right boxes when it comes to visual appeal and functionality. Leading the structure is a page-wide image slider containing a panoramic view of London’s skyline.
Foregrounded are leading headers, introductions and call to action buttons which ensure users can quickly get to their next destination.
Scrolling down, this slider gives way to a crisp and clean design structure. On top of a white background, content interacts with pinks and purples, reflected beautifully from our client’s logo.
Enhancing the visibility of key elements is what makes websites stand out
For our client, displaying services in an interactive box layout – full with purple headers and call to actions – means their clients can better understand and view the services they require.
Underneath this, the design’s layout is demarcated nicely by another content banner. This time, on top of an image of justice set in a dark purple filter, content delivered to users communicates exactly why Pemberton Legal is right for them.
Elsewhere on the homepage, namely towards the footer, we have more high-quality images, a testimonials banner, a latest blogs widget and contact call to action banner to help users get in touch when they need to.
