When Mohammed popped into our design inbox asking for a sleek eCommerce website, we were more than excited to get involved.
We’re a lover of good home furnishings design here, so it only made sense to work with a client who is equally passionate.
Sourcing their fabrics from the renowned ports of Chittagong, Bangladesh, Marico London produce a range of stunning fabrics for the home.
Now they were looking to display and sell their fabulous products online with a responsive, engaging, and fashionable eCommerce design that shows the very best of what they do.

Reflecting our client’s branding, we opted for a design that speaks both style and substance. Whether it’s the peach and black colour scheme over a white background, or the crisp Montserrat font, this design is perfect for communicating everything Marico London represents – and more.
Landing on the homepage, we’re greeted by a spacious, wide slider with big, bold typeface. If you hadn’t heard of Marico London, then you have now. This slider features a crisp image that ties in nicely with the white background – it’s the smallest details that will really propel your website for you.
Our company ethos is to make high end quality home textile products accessible to all consumers by having affordable market prices.
UI – User Interface
A good user interface allows visitors to navigate the website with ease, and facilitates their purchasing journey. Above all, a good UI should be in place to fulfil the customer’s wants and needs when and if they arise.
For our client, we’ve engineered a fantastic UI that does all of these things, ensuring that customers are always at the heart.
For example, landing on the homepage, we’re met with a spacious interior that immediately engages with the visitor with several CTAs that run throughout. A triple column menu underneath the slider displays a range of products, making it easier than ever for customers to find what they are looking for.

Getting to Know You
A company is much more than what it sells. It’s how it engages with customers, and an ‘About Us’ sections are effective pages to introduce your brand mission to your clients. For our client, ours really reaches out to visitors, and provides great context behind the business.

It’s crucial that an eCommerce website is built around the purchasing customer in mind. For our client, we’ve ensured their journey is swift and easy, with clear product ranges and add to basket CTAs.
When selecting a product, customers are able to zoom in and view different angles, too, giving them the best angles to see their next purchases.
Branding in the 21st century means engaging with clients and connecting with them online. A fantastic way to capitalise on the potential of social media is to involve hashtags. Hashtags are a great way to promote your branding in a relaxed and informal setting.
