Web Design Nuneaton

Grounding your business with a sleek digital finish.

When it comes to high-quality, reliable craftsmanship, Midlands Flooring know their stuff. An independent flooring company from the West Midlands (and serving beyond), they’ve been supplying and installing a range of floor and wall finishes to homes and businesses for over 25 years.  Now we may not be masters in flooring, but we know how to make winning websites. And that’s exactly what our client needed to spread the word and boost their success. Have a read below to see how we tackled this one.

Website Design and Website Interface

When you land on Midlands Flooring’s website, you’ll immediately notice how refreshingly modern, bright, and appealing the design interface is. From the confident homepage with blues and whites, to a modern sans serif typeface, our team of web designers have crafted design around the user journey, keeping it as simple as possible.

And when it comes to web design, colour palettes are worth more than their weight in gold. They’re something our team of web designers pay special attention to simply because they drive web design visuals forward from the moment you land to the moment you leave. First impressions matter more than ever; getting design right could be the difference between a conversion and an early exit.

For our client, our designers kept things simple with a blue and white colour scheme, with content banners, headers, and icons daubed in blue against a crisp white background. As users scroll through this website, appealing colour visuals facilitate further engagement, with call to actions encouraging users to progress with their customer journeys.

Modern web design like this one simply helps websites work efficiently. Business websites that are old and depend on outdated design are websites that repel new and existing customers from their business.

User Experience

Websites don’t just need to look appealing – they need to actually function and allow users to complete their tasks and get stuff done.

Whether that’s navigating through the website or being able to locate important information users came here to find – design needs to facilitate – and anticipate – the user journey.

For example, when users land on this homepage, navigation is made easier thanks to an above-the-fold banner which features not just a friendly introduction but two call-to-action buttons which link to their about us page and a page dedicated to showcasing our client’s case studies. Directly beneath, users are then able to click a call to action button which takes them to our client’s sister company.

Scrolling further down, users are met with images of our client’s work alongside delicious content describing how they can help customers.

And nearing the bottom, we have a blue content banner with modern icons explaining just why customers need to commission our client for their next flooring project.

Having design features like these demonstrate perfectly how such features facilitate the user journey from start to finish, with elements of design taking customers from A to B like never before.
