A house isn’t a home without a good carpet.
And when it comes to finding your feet on a luxurious surface, our Nottingham-based client, Austin’s Carpets, know how to roll out the red carpet. For over 40 years, they’ve been supplying and fitting flooring and carpets in homes needing the extra touch.
From carpets to luxury vinyl tiles, their catalogue of magic carpets helps transform interior design into special places. After getting in touch with our web designers, we got to work building a fresh website for their business. Read on to see how.
Low-cost, high-quality web design for your business
Here at Red Website Design, we may be slightly behind when it comes to fitting home carpets – but we know a thing or two about fitting high quality web design. That’s why – with over 2,500 happy customers to our name – we’re proud to help businesses like yours get ahead with a website that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Austin’s Carpets had already built themselves a steady reputation for delivering good quality work on time, but now they needed a website to propel that success.
When our web designers set out with this project, they focused their efforts on delivering on the specifics: high quality design, user engagement, and a modern digital presence for the modern age. Only then could the website begin to work as it ought to.
People come to our client’s website because they’re looking for a new carpet. In this way, their journey is already mapped out. They have the intention – our design just needed to get them there.
On the homepage, simplicity and minimalism drives design forwards. When users first land here, they’re met with a large opening slider featuring a title section and an on-brand image displaying their work. Above this, users are able to find their feet quickly thanks to a clear and informative navigation header, listing every page from home to contact us.
Scrolling down, titles are daubed in a deep blue on a white background, with service boxes featuring images and titles with blue backgrounds. Design consistency runs throughout, here – we’re not about nasty surprises.
And when users get towards the footer of this website, they can make the most of a contact us banner, before viewing a site map at the bottom listing relevant contact details. This is design built with the customer in mind.
There’s no point having amazing design if users can’t do anything with it. Across our client’s pages, users can soak in as much information as they want, with engaging content informing visitors of product specs and prices.
And when it comes to encouraging conversions, we built a contact us page where users won’t be wasting their time thanks to a user-friendly contact form with a few handy contact details listed at the side.
That’s what we’re all about here – designing websites that work for you and your customers. Get in touch today and see how we can help take your project forward.
