Bradbury & Stirling Associations are a financial and business risk services provider based in Grimsby.
They offer a range of financial services, from credit control to trade negotiations – and everything in-between. Our client wanted a fresh, integrated, and UX-friendly digital home.
That’s where we came in. Their standard, 5-page brochure website helps to capture their mission beautifully and puts them on the digital map.
We’re proud of this website – so we’re going to talk a little bit more about it here.
Layout, Navigation, and Content
Our client is a regulatory-backed financial services company that prides itself on delivering sound advice and trusted business solutions. We wanted the website to reflect their core values but still demonstrate a welcoming and inclusive digital environment.
Getting this balance right was crucial for our client’s key target audience.
Landing on the homepage we are greeted with a few sliders that preview some of the services offered by our client. Suitable images accompany these, too, adding extra context. More importantly, however, they help bring our client’s products to life.
Scrolling further down, a small introductory section enables visitors to gather more information about Bradbury & Stirling. And even better – CTA buttons underneath each subsection makes the customer journey that bit easier by facilitating multi-page navigation. Voila!
Defining your mission – and selling it.
About Us pages have enormous potential for you to tap into. It’s often one of the first page visitors will actively seek out. After all, you want to know as much as you can about a potential business – especially if that business operates in the financial industry.
It’s your place to say: “this is who we are, and this is what we do”.
They need to be – and deserve to be – so much more than a page created on a whim with a few lines of content, however. A powerful ‘About Us’/’Mission’/Our story’ page cuts through the noise to empower a brand to not only say this is who we are – but to go further with ‘this is how we can add value to your life’.
Our client has achieved this wonderfully, breaking each section down to ‘Our vision’, ‘Our mission’, and ‘Corporate objectives’. These sections demonstrate how a successful mission statement page can help define and strengthen your brand.
Curating a positive relationship is also crucial for businesses. A ‘Subscribe’ function on our client’s website helps them to do just that, placed nicely next to the contact details.
Good design speaks for itself.
When we arrive on this website, we immediately acknowledge the presence of a professional, reliable, and stable financial company.
This is achieved by using appropriate images and a reliable, enduring colour scheme. We’ve gone with soft shades of blue, an accompanying orange, and a reliable white background. The finished product is a design that is professional and one that works extremely well with the logo.
It’s also consistent throughout, meaning no nasty surprises or unexpected design gimmicks. All of this goes a long way to positioning your brand as a steady and trustworthy choice.
