Even the biggest global oil companies need a helping hand getting ahead.

And that’s where Infinity Marine Services come in handy. With offices in London and Minneapolis, our client provides logistical support for oil companies around the world – from the UK to Dubai, Ghana to Singapore. By streamlining operational costs for oil stakeholders, our client helps their clients increase output and keep losses to a minimum.

When it was time for a business website update, they got in touch with us to take care of it.

Low-cost web design

For our client, our team of web designers wanted web design to transport a leading oil logistics company into the twenty-first century and beyond. We always let our digital interfaces do the talking, and this brief was no different.

One of the most effective areas of web design in which you can make a real difference is the colour scheme. From releasing creative juices to injecting a new lease of life into a digital space, colour palettes have the power to transform a website into something special – and it’s exactly what happened with Infinity Marine Services.

On the homepage, a white, purple, and yellow pallet ultimately leads the navigational experience.

White spaces are neatly interrupted with content banners, hover titles, and headers decorated in this colour scheme, making this website come to life like never before.

Web design for us also means projecting our clients’ values, and one way to help make this happen is transforming the way content is delivered. Thanks to a sleek sans serif typeface, the professionalism of our client’s website is boosted significantly.

Once this sort of web design is in place, it’s all about consistency from front to back. This colour palette, you’ll see, is visible right across the website. The result? A digital presence that’s reliable, consistent, and devoid of nasty design surprises. Because nobody likes nasty design surprises.

You could call a functioning UI the most important thing in the world. We just call it business as usual.

The user interface (UI) is all about how users interact with the interface before them – in our case it’s a website.

Having an optimised user interface makes it easier for users to navigate across the website, locate information they require, and purchase the goods they need. When web design is built around the customer, a successful user interface naturally results.

For Infinity Marine Services, we ensured several design features worked around the online user, assisting them with their journey. For example, a sticky navigation header ensures they’re only ever a click away from their next page, whilst visible call to action buttons are in place to help guide them to key content.

On the services page, content is delivered with clarity, thanks to bold titles and concise content. And when users reach the bottom of the page, they can quickly head to the contact page thanks to an enticing call to action. And on this contact page, users can easily submit their details thanks to a minimal, user-friendly form.
