Design that speaks from the heart
Greenhouse Psychotherapy have one priority: helping people find their feet again. Practicing in Eccles, they use the best therapy tools, techniques, and programs available to give the best care when people need it most.
When our client got in touch asking for a standard brochure website, we couldn’t wait to get started.
Have a read below to see how our website designers came up with something special.
The clue is in the name with this one. We wanted design here to be reflective, calm, and spacious. The true ‘greenhouse’ effect for us would be evoking in visitors a sense of tranquillity and familiarity – just the sort of values you’d expect from this website.
That’s why we went with the relaxed green, grey, and white colour palette, immediately setting the mood for the rest of the website. On top of this, to provide a clean and professional finish, we used an off-black Lato font.
Already we were starting to piece together the puzzles to create something inspiring. What we needed was more consistency across the website. This was achieved by having all navigation buttons (CTAs and header) in green when users hover over them, as well as a consistently minimal layout throughout every page.
Overall, we made sure that our design remained minimal, clutter-free, and focused. That’s how we were able to produce a website that, from the start, is modern and clear.
Following on from our design, next we needed to implement these inspiring elements onto an interface that people will enjoy using.
This meant, again, keeping things simple and helping users to go where they need to.
The navigation bar, for example, is clutter-free and contains only the relevant pages. And when users scroll, they’re only ever one click away from their next page thanks to a sticky header.
Homepages are one of the most crucial parts of any website. And, seeing as they’re often prone to high bounce rates, we knew we needed to make this one the best it could be.
On the homepage, users are guided nicely by engaging content and relevant images. And, not only that, they can see picture of their potential psychologist. This is great for transparency and helps our client come across as natural and approachable as possible.
As we want to make it simple for patients to get in touch, we made sure a subscriptions banner was available as soon as they land. Immediately underneath the intro content, users can simply enter their details and submit their interest. This is all about anticipating the customer journey, and making it that bit easier for patients to get access to the care they need.
Underneath this banner, users can make the most of all relevant contact details, including all their favourite social media feeds. What this does is ensure our client promotes an ‘always-on’ presence, so when they’re no physically online, they’re business is.
The user interface we built for our client, above all, is conducive to forming positive relationships. Its easy-to-use platform means our client – and their clients – are able connect via a website that brings the best care to people’s fingertips.
