MagoSpa

MagoSpa offers clients luxurious, life-affirming spa treatments modelled on ancient Egyptian methods, techniques and recipes.

From sipping on blue lotus tea to experiencing long-forgotten beauty rituals, our client’s spa treatments provide something that little bit different to clients looking to relax and unwind.

When it came to building a new website, our client approached the UK web design wizards here at Red Website Design. Here’s how they turned a brief into something special.

It goes without saying: those first impressions count more than anything, which is why we made sure our client’s website turned heads from the very beginning.

From here, it’s much easier to encourage web users their to stay online and to get to know MagoSpa.

When you land on this website, the first thing you’ll notice about this homepage interface is how professional, clean, and easy to use it is.

To connect with customers and advertise their services, MagoSpa needed a seamlessly luxurious yet friendly feel for this luxurious spa website.

We believe this inspiring, user-friendly and clean web design offers the perfect mix of both professionalism and approachability, meaning clients get the best of both worlds as soon as they visit right through to the end.

Positive web design experiences

Above the fold – the section you first encounter when you first arrive on a website’s homepage – is where websites have their reckoning.

Put customers off at this stage and it’s curtains. Impress them enough to entice further on-site exploration and you’ve got a recipe for success.

For MagoSpa, though we were looking for a traditional and familiar feel, our Ecommerce web designers implemented some unique features to make this interface stand out.

For example, an off-right navigation header – balanced out by the logo on the left– sits perfectly atop a welcome content box featuring copy and a large on-brand image to the right.

From here, users can dive straight in to our client’s products and services via a well-placed call to action button encouraging further on-site activity.

Scrolling further down this website, you’ll notice how open, transparent, and client-focused this user interface is.

It’s all about creating journeys that are client-oriented, easy to use and on-brand. By creating this experience package, you’re able to curate a journey that belongs to you and your brand only.

From introductions to product call to actions with high quality images – website content here is actionable, focused, clean, and modern.

Colour palette

Speaking of visuals, now’s a good time to acknowledge the website’s colour scheme and other visual elements.

Neutral tones can be found within the dominant grey and gold colour palette.

Not only does this lend itself to the luxurious feel of our client’s branding, it helps content stand out.

You’ll even appreciate the Egyptian-esque typeface, again lending itself to our client’s visual and brand identity. Perfect.

User journey

Working together, these elements work in tandem to curate a positive user journey that’s build on intelligent design, user-friendly navigation systems and design that’s both aesthetic and purposeful.
