Helping clients to help theirs, TourDesk Global are a leading provider of travel technology solutions that work wonders.
Their mission? To transform the way travel businesses do business – helping them to streamline their core services and achieve greater customer value.
Providing market-leading CRM, integration software, and travel technology, our client’s products – and core strategy – is to get travel businesses flying with a head start.
Experiencing rapid growth in their portfolio, our client approached Red Website Design to establish a brochure-style website worth shouting about.
We couldn’t wait to get started on this one; have a read below to see what went on behind the scenes, and what makes tourdeskglobal.com one of the best there is.
First, we had to ensure top-notch design was there to bring our client’s branding into the twenty-first century and fit for the digital landscape.
Perhaps the most eye-catching component of our client’s website design is its dominating colour palette that runs across each page. Assigning a colour palette to this website meant asking what kind of values we wanted it to achieve – and why.
Red and black is a common pairing, and one that fits our client’s branding perfectly. With red and black, we arrive with tones of professionalism, reliability, and excellence. We’re holding no biases with red here (for obvious reasons), but it truly is a great choice of colour to go for if you are looking to communicate a bold and respectable digital hallmark. Confidence is key here – when people know you do something great, it’s nice to translate that into design.
Designing this website, we really wanted to encourage a spacious and inviting web presence that works for visitors. Our client’s branding is all about providing software with great customer service for clients who are at the heart of their business. That’s why we’ve utilised sliders and white space where appropriate to freshen this website up.
Choosing typeface for your website is a crucial step of the design process. You may be thinking, how can something seemingly so inconsequential be worthy of discussion? Well, fonts are a big deal. From exporting brand identity and voice to improving your site’s overall legibility and feel, fonts are one of your most important outward expressions.
Named Montserrat, the font we’ve chosen for this website is designed for optimised legibility and sleek appearance from start to finish. With clean, crisp lines, this sans serif font is great for mobiles and smaller screens, ensuring our client can be accessed on any device with no issues.
What is branding without a meaningful, effective logo to go with it?
Our client’s logo is everything a good logo should be: informative, engaging, and on-brand. Reflecting our client’s edge in modern technology solutions, this logo is suitably sleek and modern, with a futuristic voice.
UI – User Interface
Building an interface that is responsive and memorable was at the top of our agenda for our client. We wanted to create a digital space that is not only inviting, but one that works and and is there for customers’ neds and wants.
For TourDesk Global, the UI is smooth from beginning to end, with navigation bars and CTAs functioning as they should be.
The sticky header is prominent and visible but does not block main text compartments on the website. This means that integral sections of the website are not obstructed and are easily accessible.
Client focused company
Our client is dedicated to placing their customers at the heart of their operations. We built features that support this, from a responsive contact us page, to several contact and get in touch CTAs that are available when visitors want them.
