Twice national floor award winners, My Floor Project, have over 40 years’ experience in the installation and supply of all types of floor coverings.
From luxurious wooden finishes for you home, or professional carpets for your office – our client does exactly what it says on the tin. And so much more.
Their new website would be the underlay behind their business success. So, our team of website designers got it done. Happy days.
Take a little look below to see how we made our client’s web design brief come to life with a low-cost, high-quality website.
Website Design and Website Interface
Visiting My Floor Project’s website, the first you’ll definitely notice is how minimal, refreshing, and opening the design interface really is. From the spacious homepage with white and grey containers – to the sans-serif font, design here really focuses on the user’s journey, and helps keep it as simple as possible.
Colour palettes are always something our designers focus on because they have the power to communicate the sort of brand values you just don’t get with text and/or images.
Four our client, we went with a cool green, grey, and white colour scheme. Not only does this palette respond well to the logo, it guides the rest of the design. Whether that’s call to action buttons, or website footer sections, this colour scheme is beautifully on-brand while leading that brand presence throughout the customer journey.
Modern design makes websites work. Websites that are outdated stick out like a sore thumb. That’s why, with every project we undertake, we ensure it contains the relevant features to help bring businesses into the twenty-first century where they belong.
On the homepage, as soon as users land on our client’s website, they’re met with a slider with a title, CTAs, and arrows to click through to more images. This is all about putting the customer in control of their experience.
And as they scroll down, users can begin learning about our client’s service, with minimal icons above CTAs and concise service text.
And finally, reaching the bottom of the website, we’ve placed a sliding image reel displaying our client’s latest work.
Not only is this homepage a contemporary one – it’s built around the customer with the aim of encouraging conversions and other on-page actions.
Away from the homepage, every single page carries the main design through. From header images to green CTAs and sliding images, our client’s digital presence keeps their customer journey simple and effective.
How Websites Build Your Reputation
Websites are the home-base of your marketing efforts; they’re where you need to direct customers to encourage them to view your services and convert. Whether you’re dishing out business cards or run a social media profile, you need to be linking to your website. Obviously.
But once users land on websites, we feel they should be able to view not just your about page or even your services. We believe websites need to do much more. And it’s all about reputation.
Maintaining a blog is guaranteed to transform your website into a knowledgeable reservoir of content that users can always depend on. Which is exactly why we installed one for our client.
For My Floor Project, we didn’t just build a low-cost, high-quality website. We built a modern website that gives them the confidence to do their thing and house their business online with a contemporary, client-centred website.
