Manna Fund are going the extra mile to help provide for those who are unable to do so themselves.
They’re a UK charity raising funds to help feed the homeless population across Cape Town, South Africa. Their number one goal is to provide one nourishing meal each day to those in need. It’s no easy job, and they needed a website to push their mission forwards and help with their fundraising efforts. A website helps them centralise their marketing efforts – here’s how our designers got it done.
There’s nothing we love more than designing simple, beautiful and user-friendly websites. Whether you’re after an e-commerce website or a standard catalogue website, our team of UK web designers know how to get it done.
Building on our expertise since we started back in 2007, we’ve made over 2,500 happy customers. Joining them was Manna Fund, and they needed their homepage web design to shine.
Minimal and eye-catching were to be the two driving forces behind the homepage, and what better way to make positive first impressions than with the colour palette?
Charity websites need to say what they do quickly, effectively and in a way that’s easy on the eye.
For our client, we went with a two-tone blue colour palette which graces this design from front to back.
As soon as visitors land on the homepage, they’re able to quickly resonate with this palette. From the centralised logo on the navigation banner, to service boxes, call to action buttons and headers – this colour palette injects modernity and life into the website.
Having the two-colour palette is also a convenient way to break up content and add different sections. Scrolling down, different sections of the homepage – such as the introduction and a donation call to action banner – are demarcated by different colours to help deliver a refreshing navigation experience.
It’s not just colour that’s important to delivering content. With a clean sans serif typeface, our client is able to professionally communicate with their visitors all on an interface that values their time.
And if anything is going to help users spend their time wisely, it’s a user-friendly navigation set-up.
Helping our clients to help their visitors is what our navigation web design is all about. It’s all well and having an appealing interface full of colour and images, but unless users can’t operate that website, it’s useless.
For Manna Fund’s charity website to be successful, we had to ensure users could use it.
Keeping the homepage simple really helps. As soon as users land here, they’re not far from accessing service boxes, as well as other handy call to action buttons such as the donate button – always crucial.
And speaking of optimising the homepage for donation clicks, our designers needed to design the donation page around our client’s visitors.
Here, a simple donation process enables visitors to quickly input their donation amount before heading to the checkout to make their payment.
Thanks to a simple and effective design interface, the user navigation comes naturally. And that’s what we’re all about.
