To ease the burden on resources and staffing levels, primary care networks work together to meet demand and enable patient access to specialised health professionals. Bringing together 23 member practices, Enfield Unity is able to offer outstanding patient care across the board. To connect better with patients online, however, they required a brand-new website.

For Enfield Unity PCN, we knew they were looking for a highly professional, sleek and easy to use website. They also wanted their new website to be resourceful, with useful links and information patients can use when they need to.
Above all, it had to be reliable, trustworthy, and visually appealing. We don’t get long to grab the attention of users when they arrive on websites, so it’s essential users feel comfortable the moment they arrive.
So, our designers got to work first by setting the colour palette for the website whole website. Colour palettes are crucial to matching your values with your content. For Enfield Unity PCN, we kept the colour scheme relevant to the medical profession with a brilliant white and light blue scheme.
From title headers to icons, this blue injects a refreshing modernity from start to finish.
When we’re working with content communication, it’s important to get the typography right. Our client wanted this website to be both professional and modern, familiar and engaging. With an Open Sans Serif font, our team of designers were able to do this and more.
Sans serif typefaces immediately invoke a much more sleek and clean design finish, and modern websites looking to bring content directly to users, they’re the way to go.
Combined with the colour palette, we were starting to see the project coming together nicely.
But we needed other design features to really make this homepage stand out for users.
Keeping things minimal and spacious is one of our hallmarks. For our client who operates in the medical industry, this was the perfect opportunity to put this to practice.
Landing on the homepage, the scrolling journey begins with an above-the-fold slider with semi-transparent, high quality images. Foregrounded are blue call to action buttons and introductory content assisting users with their journey.
Scrolling down, the white background is broken up by other design features such as blue content banners, rounded images, icons and visible call to actions. What these do is provide a more varied viewing experience to optimise the user experience and keep the website refreshing to keep users on the page.
