YGHP. Why settle for less?

YGHP have over 30 years’ experience providing amazing heating & plumbing services up and down the UK.

When it comes to keeping homes warm, our client knows a thing or two about giving amazing quality service. Now they needed a standard brochure website to display their services and boost business.

Take a look to see how we created a website that does the job. And more.

Design

In signature Red Website Design fashion, you’ll notice straightaway that this website is clean, modern, and inviting – everything a brochure style website should be.

Design here means complimenting colour palettes, a crisp font, banner images, and smooth icons to add a visual edge. The perfect ingredients to create a unique presence.

You’ll find consistent design across YGHP’s website, too, leaving no nasty design surprises for potential customers!

Design not only needs to make your website appealing, it also needs to fulfil customer expectations. After designing our client’s website, we’ve recently added eCommerce capabilities, making YGHP a competitive online store.

And to make their customers’ journeys that more informed, on each product page you’ll see large, high-quality images that feature next to informative content.

Interface

Great websites need great interfaces that allows customers to navigate freely and fulfil tasks. In today’s competitive climate, business website owners need to have interfaces that retain customer engagement and facilitate in completing their journeys. Only then can you look forward to conversions.

Implemented underneath our design is a fully functioning interface that enables customers to do what they need to do. Whenever, and wherever.

From a concise navigation bar, to a streamlined eCommerce store, this interface has customers at its heart, and has relevant CTAs in the right places.

Building relationships

In today’s market, business websites need to form relationships with customers to add value to their experience. It’s what makes people come back again and again – and recommend your service to friends.

One way to get the ball rolling here is by creating a contact page that allows online visitors to get in touch and seek answers to their queries. Not only is this great for building trust, it’s also effective for personalising your digital presence.

For our client, the contact page contains relevant details as well as an easy form that doesn’t take an hour to fill in. We’ve also added Google Maps at the bottom, to really put the business on the map! Features like these enhance credibility and ultimately set you aside from your competition.

eCommerce

Being an eCommerce store means having next-level functionality that anticipates the buyer’s journey.

When we visit the ‘Shop’ page, we’re met with a range of amazing products that customers can browse through. And when they find something they need, they can simply click on it and find out more information thanks to product information and a pricing guide.

When customers click on the price, they’re transported to a committed page just for that product, full of additional information – such as specs and dimensions – and a secure payment avenue via the basket.

Baskets are where the magic happens on eCommerce websites – they’re also where eCommerce sites suffer the highest bounce rates. Getting this right was crucial if we were to make a success of it.

Our basket page makes it easy as possible for customers to review products, view total prices, change quantities, and even calculate shipping!

And if customers have a coupon code, they can easily apply it and receive the discount.

At the bottom right we have the basket totals section, listing subtotals, shipping costs, UK VAT, and a proceed to checkout CTA.

When we think of effective purchasing journeys, this is it.
