The number of people who will have dementia in the UK is set to rise to over 1.1 million by 2025, and 2 million by 2051 – that’s in increase of 40% over the next 12 years.
It’s a disease so prevalent that, just like cancer, affects all of us even if indirectly. Dementia Prevention UK are all about providing people with the knowledge, support, and tools to combat the risk of dementia in your life. When it was time for a website, they needed a new brochure website to display their services and make it easier for people to get in touch. And that’s where we come in.
Cheap healthcare web design
In each and every healthcare website we have designed, we have married the two most important foundations each website should have to succeed: attractive visuals and a functional user journey.
For over 14 years, our dedicated team of UK web designers have been designing websites to help business improve their online visibility, sell products, or generate more sign-ups.
Whatever the goal or conversion, a new website from Red Website Design means having a website that is built around you and your customers – all on an interface that is unique to the personality of your brand.
For Dementia UK, we built a website that helps them do more online with more customers all around the world.
User interface design
Interfaces are where users interact with web design content. They need to be engaging enough to spark curiosity and simple enough to keep users on them.
For our client, our designers wanted to create an interface that is both modern and familiar, carrying the right amount of visuals to carry the brand forwards and tell their story in a way that no other website does.
The result is a homepage that is visually easy on the eye and functionally sound. When you land here, users are greeted to beautiful design features such as a large slider set in the colour scheme, before scrolling down to the website’s content.
And it’s here where, supported with additional design elements such as images and call to actions, content shines through to help users find what they are looking.
Making sure we communicate content in the right way really matters because we don’t want users to get bored or distracted. With a hearty blend of traditional and non-traditional serif typefaces, we’re able to communicate in a way that is refreshing and familiar for each user.
And when it comes to consistency, our designers ensured that each and every page carried through the same design features to aid familiarity. What this does is to create a user journey that is linear and straightforward, helping our client to connect with theirs in a much more meaningful way.
Testimonials – social proofing your website
Websites are the perfect way to let your customers speak for you. For Dementia UK, we added a dedicated testimonials page to make it even easier for our client to house their customer reviews, helping others to make a much more informed choice. Everyone’s a winner.
