Whether you’re looking for a training course for your dog or want to embark on a one-on-one private course, Progress Dog Training can work with you and your dog on a range of areas from home training to socialisation. When Angela wanted a new website, she came to us.
Here’s how our UK design team turned a brief into a fully-functioning dog training website.
Business web design from the UK’s leading web design company
We’ve been designing business websites since 2007. Whether it’s eCommerce, brochure or blog, we’re proud to give businesses like yours the tools for online success.
Not only do well-designed websites give your business the modern look and feel it deserves, they successfully house your marketing efforts into one place, helping customers to locate you online and learn about how you can help them.
With over 2,500 happy customers, it’s safe to say that our websites do more than look good – they work for our clients and theirs, too.
For Progress Dog Training, from front to back this website is professional, modern, and full of personality. It’s also informative, easy to use, and visually pleasing.
Underpinning this success is, of course, web design which performs as well as looks good.
This is crucial because, as you’ll know, we’re spending less time thinking and more time doing. On websites, this translates to high expectations and shorter windows to achieve that. Getting the homepage right was a necessity if the rest of the website was going to be worthwhile.
Behind every visually pleasing homepage is the colour palette, helping to foreground design elements and communicate a set of values to your visitors. Think black for funeral directors or candy pinks and blues for a confectionery business. There’s an awful lot of messaging and communication that goes on behind colour palettes.
For our client, a natural base of green, white and blue propels this homepage forward, structuring design features such as call to actions, logos, and content banners from top to bottom.
And bringing a modern feel to the interface, we have rounded images, semi-transparent backgrounds, and clean content boxes to house information and other content for users.
It’s really all about using space, or when not to use it. For this website, a healthy dose of white space both helps to break up visual information and provide a more natural, clean finish.
We build user-friendly websites
Customers don’t just need to enjoy looking at websites, they need to be able to use them. For Progress Dog Training, training service pages include clever booking systems to assist users with their enquiries.
We also have a gallery page, where customers can interact with images, as well as a contact page helping to bring our client closer to theirs.
From start to finish, this website is a refreshing digital take on a traditional business model, helping our client to seriously compete in their market.
