Visas, paperwork and finances can seem like a lot to get your head around. That’s where our client, Cheaper Migration Agent, come in. Helping you make the move to down under is what they live and breathe. And they wanted a new website, so we gave it to them.
Designing a website for a business whose sole aim is to help clients make the move down under had to achieve lots of thing, but one thing in particular. It needed to communicate exactly how they can help, and fast.
If we’re honest, landing pages are where the magic happens. These days, web users are forming judgements about your website in less than 8 seconds. At least half of this decision making is made on landing pages.
At the very core of our client’s business is helping clients understand the process of moving to Australia.
For many users, if they arrive on this landing page, they have a pretty good idea of their intentions. Either they have committed themselves to moving to Australia or they are seriously considering it as an option in the future.
Simply, the landing page for our client therefore had to cater to both groups.
Having one half dedicated to content and the other dedicated to encouraging users to fill in a contact form was paramount.
So, it’s what we did. The homepage is essentially a contact form. On top of a semi-transparent image of Sydney, we have engaging copy and a customer friendly white submission form.
For the colour scheme, blue and white fits perfectly with the country’s flag colours—and who doesn’t love blue and white as a combination?
Scrolling down, the sticky navigation header activates, with the logo to the left and headers to the right.
And as users make their way down this website, they can benefit from our client’s wealth of information, from fee tables to copy detailing how our client can offer their amazing services.
Testimonials are all about proofing the authenticity of you and the services you offer. Word of mouth is the best form of referral; we can think of testimonials as the online version.
So, on the reviews page, our team of web designers made sure that users can clearly access reviews thanks to a sliding reel of submissions made by former customers. And to encourage users to get in touch, we have the same landing page contact form further underneath, meaning our client are always on hand to help theirs.
Simple but effective was the mantra for this project, and we can see it paid off beautifully. Both functional and aesthetically pleasing, this one has it all. Thanks to stunning web design and an interface built with users in mind, moving to Australia has become that little bit easier.
