Hand-crafted web design to help you say it better

Looking for personalised, hand-made gifts from the heart? Look no further than C&K Hampers, a family-run business based in Manchester – but serving the world.

Behind C&K Hampers is a mum and daughter business duo, and they’ve been making gifts for friends and clients for several years.

Now it was time to take their mission online. With a cheap website from us, they’re now able to spread their brand, sell to more customers, and smash their business goals.

Take a look below to see how our team of web designs turned this design brief into a gorgeous gift.

Website Design and Website Interface

Let’s face it – for amazing businesses to be amazing, they need a modern, sleek business website.

With a great web presence, businesses won’t just look fit for the future. They’re more likely to get more customers, too.

Looks sell, after all. And nowhere is this more prevalent than in web design.

Naturally, visitors are more drawn to website they like the look of.

In fact, 2 out of 3 visitors prefer to navigate a website with beautifully designed content. And not only that. When it comes to credibility, 48% of visitors cited a website’s design as a crucial factor.

Clearly – web design matters for our clients, and for our client’s clients, too.

And for CK Hampers, our web design team knew they wanted to achieve something special.

Since they are a homemade gift boutique, their visual representation was going to need amazing web design.

And what better way than to start with a refreshing colour palette?

For business websites looking to provide something unique to their visitors, colour palettes are a huge leveraging tool for making those good first impressions.

For our client, we went with pastel colours. Pastels are great for any website – but even better for any websites looking to give off creative, friendly, and approachable vibes.

Throughout, we daubed this website in colours of baby pinks, blues, and teals, along with a clean white background to help promote content.

To keep our client’s branding consistent and warm, you’ll find this design repeated throughout. Because nobody wants any nasty surprises.

Evoking a contemporary presence, we also applied sticky headers, large sliders, and large service boxes with engaging content and call to action.

But keeping things rustic and personalised, we made sure to use a scribble-style, handwritten typeface to help make those connections with customers.

For websites to be successful, however, they don’t just have to look good. They need to feel good. It’s all about building interfaces with the customer journey in mind.

That’s why, on the homepage, as soon as visitors have read about our client, they’re immediately greeted with products, closely followed by a testimonials section.

By presenting featuring our client’s latest products, as well as testimonials by satisfied customers, web visitors will be encouraged to consider our client’s services even more.

And when customers head over to product catalogue, they can swiftly and easily browse to their heart’s content thanks to a refreshing product layout and easy payment settings thanks to our plug-ins.

We don’t just build websites. We build low-cost, high-quality business websites. Websites that help you get ahead for less. And websites that bring your business into the times. Tell us about your project and we’ll help you thrive online.
