Helping clients and candidates get ahead.

When it comes to legal recruitment, AmbiPro aren’t your typical, run-of-the-mill agency. Operating in the heart of Manchester, they find motivation in helping clients and candidates discover their potential.

Offering recruitment advice, consultancy, and the right contacts for the right people, AmbiPro have nurtured a brilliant reputation for delivering professional core service across the legal industry.

AmbiPro means reliability, professionalism, and exceptionalism. And with experience recruiting for several Law Society Winners, they have a thing or two to shout about.

This isn’t your typical agency – so why would we create a typical website? Have a read below to see how we made a genuine website for a genuine brand.

Design

Website design for AmbiPro meant cutting edge reliability. It meant forward-thinking design that inspired ingenuity and a drive for getting things done.

Overall, the design of this website is effortlessly sleek and spacious. We really believe in saying more by doing less; why add things when they’re not needed? It only adds clutter and, ultimately, takes focus away from what really matters.

Utilising white space when you can is a great tactic for opening up your website and keeping a neutral, balanced structure. And by doing this, we’re able to inject and foreground our dominant blue colour palette that inks this website in a beautiful, professional design from back to front.

And with a gorgeous opening slider that sits comfortably under a centralised navigation bar, we’re able to keep this website interesting and free from dull text that does anything but inspire creative thinking.

This slider functions at its best because of the white space surrounding it. Immediately below we can clearly see this at play, and as a result of this decision, foregrounding and centring captivating text (Personable. Professional. Passionate…… Dedicated) becomes much more impactful for the viewer.

White space is great to have, but it does need appropriate adjacent colours. For our navigation bar, we’ve gone with a cool off-grey that helps to break up this website in a digestible way. It also makes it more noticeable when the website is stationary. And when customers do begin scrolling, it changes to white, and in-keeping with the overall design.

Creating a natural flow of design is how you make a website consistent and free of nasty surprises.

This is what we mean by making great design speak for you and your brand. We could have had any old slider and background, and whilst this may have still produced a homepage worthy of a scroll or two, it is this specific design that nurtures a more engaging website.

With great design comes great typeface. Choosing one that works for you is a crucial process that will propel your brand identity if done right. At the heart of our client’s branding we have professionalism, minimalism, and authenticity. We therefore knew we had to have a font that was sleek, light, and airy. Helvetica was a natural choice to this query, allowing this website to function with all the creative space it needs.

UI – User Interface

All this great design needed a suitable home, or user interface. Creating an intuitive user interface was our opportunity to transform AmbiPro from being an ordinary recruitment website to one that is the definitive digital presence. This meant it had to be responsive, engaging, and fulfilling for users.

We’ve discussed a lot about the homepage, so let’s take a look around and see what makes this UI so appealing.

To start with, every page is consistently on-brand and on-design, and this really allows for a much more responsive and fluid experience for our visitors. Chunks of text are commonly accompanied with images to their right, and we’ve also added several testimonials from previous clients, which helps spread the word.

And what’s more, when visitors have finished scrolling, they can have quick access to the blog’s latest posts, as well as an easy-access site map at the bottom.

Content

Content that speaks to you rather than at you makes for a much more pleasant experience. Being a recruitment agency, it was imperative that content was aligned with this objective. Across all pages, content is very down-to-earth, jargon-free, and realistic, meaning visitors know what they can expect from AmbiPro right from the very start.

Blogs mean traffic

Maintaining a regularly-updated content source will ensure your website is the go-to page for evergreen and relevant content in your industry.

Blogs also allow you to discuss industry trends, debates, and anything useful for your visitors.

By providing users with fresh, up-to-date posts, you can readily improve brand perception and overall usability. They are there to help you communicate with users more freely, and are so easily digestible – and shareable. Creating this kind of community will really do wonders for your business.
