InstaLash are an independent UK lash brand that add glamour and spice to their customer’s lives when they need it most.
Offering 100% luxury, 100% cruelty-free Mink lashes, our client is proud to be the leader in bespoke, sustainable sass. These are convenient, long-lasting mink eye lashes, so it was only right and proper that we got the word out.
We were delighted when they partnered with us to produce an eCommerce website that turns heads. We rather like the look of this one, and we think you will too. Have a read below to see how we produced something special.
Taking our client’s requirements in the design brief forward, we applied a pink and white colour palette across the whole website, optimising our client’s branding and placing this at the forefront of the visitor experience.
Colour truly can be your best friend when you’re kind to it. When we were pondering over this website, we knew we had to make it work for us. Operating in the beauty industry, this palette just had to communicate tones of professionalism, style, and energy.
The pink and white scheme delivers this, and then some. It isn’t in your face, either – the pink is soft and subtle, and is a natural pairing with the white that sprinkles a touch of elegance right the way through.
A dreamy kind of elegance can immediately be sensed when landing on this site, too. Sliders work really well for capturing this objective, opening the whole website up and bringing it onto the twenty-first century. Ours is not only great for branding purposes (two amazing lashes!) but it really sets the overall tone of what’s to come. And with a handy CTA available, what’s not to love?!
UI – User Interface
Grapes and wine. Cookies and cream. Great design and great UI. These are a few of our favourite things. No really.
Design that looks good has to be housed on an interface that works for the viewer and solves their wants and needs when they arise.
Our seamlessly guides the viewer across the various webpage with ease, leading them to several CTAs where they can drop items into baskets.
Our client’s branding is all in the name. Keeping up with current trends and styles is a centre-piece for our client. That’s why we’ve added a ‘current trends’ as well as a ‘featured’ section, because, well, it’s always good to be in the know.
And for those looking to view what’s flying off the shelf, the Best Sellers section immediately underneath the slider is fantastic for keeping people in the know and providing that added inspiration.
Our client is more than just a company behind a computer screen, and we really wanted visitors to sense that. The ‘About Us’ page transforms InstaLash from an inaccessible and distant eCommerce retailer into a much more personal, accessible, and engaging one.
Staying in Touch
It’s nice to stay in touch with people. For our client, the ‘Subscribe for Updates’ form visible at the bottom of the website makes it even easier for their customers to receive stuff that matters to them. And if they would like to reach out directly, the Contact Us page is there for that very reason.
Visitors are able to view the latest content from our client’s Insta feed by browsing through the ‘Latest from Instagram’ section. Not only does this display relevant social content, it gives viewers the opportunity to engage with the brand online, by sharing or tagging them in posts.
